Recently I was given the opportunity to participate in 20×2 Chicago, curated by the amazing Andrew Huff, Editor of Gapers Block. It’s a fast-paced event where 20 creative people are invited to answer the same question in two minutes. The question this time is “Where Are We?” Some people read short stories, some do Powerpoints, some wrote and sang songs. I presented some of my photography in a short film set to music. Usually when I present my work, it’s in an art gallery and while openings are fun that setting is usually a quiet one. So it was pretty amazing to present to a loud and lively room full of people at Schuba’s Tavern. It wasn’t a typical art crowd–people there had all kinds of interests, so that was really fun too.
